Client reported slow logons, increase complaints in accessing the old Exchange 5.5 Server. Intercore was brought in to examine these issues.

Migrated 200 employees from NT 4.0 and Exchange 5.5 Clustered to Windows 2003 and Exchange 2003. Performed due diligence review of existing Windows NT 4.0 and Exchange 5.5 environment.  Provided documentation of the infrastructure including applications and desktop conversion specifications. Installed and configured Windows 2003 servers with Active Directory.  Established trust between NT 4.0 and Windows 2003 and migrated users, groups and printers. Installed and configured Exchange 2003 server and established connectivity to Exchange 5.5 environment.  Developed and implemented procedures for migrating mail store and user community.  Configured spam filtering system to interface with MS Exchange.  Reviewed and implement security measures on servers and workstations including: virus protection and spyware.
